ABOUT ME
For over a decade, I have been dedicated to the craft of tattooing, evolving from painting murals on the streets of Chicago to mastering the tattoo needle. For the last 8+ years, I have called Black Atlas Studios in Pilsen my home. This long tenure in one of Chicago’s most respected neighborhoods hasn’t just defined my career; it has shaped my style.
The Art
I view tattooing as a fine art form. Specializing in Black & Gray Realism and Geometric design, my work is heavily influenced by surrealism and cinematic lighting. I focus on high-contrast imagery, texture, and atmosphere—treating every tattoo as a piece meant to age gracefully on the skin.
The Mission
My commitment to the industry extends beyond the chair. I am the founder of the Green Soap Collective, a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting tattooing in a gallery context, and I host The Green Soap Box podcast. Whether organizing events like The Living Canvas or interviewing fellow artists, my goal is to elevate the standard of tattooing in Chicago.
The Experience
I pride myself on providing a calm, professional, and judgment-free environment. When I’m not at the shop or recording, you can usually find me focusing on health and wellness, or hanging out with my three cats.
